1. Use the ignition key. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it counterclockwise until the car turns off.
2. Press the start/stop button. If your car has a start/stop button, press it once to turn the car off.
3. Shift the transmission into park. If your car is in gear, shifting the transmission into park will turn the car off.
Once the car is off, remove the key from the ignition or press the start/stop button again.
