How do you remove the heater core on a 57 Chevy?

1. Disconnect the battery. This will prevent any electrical shock from occurring while you are working.

2. Drain the coolant from the radiator. This can be done by opening the petcock at the bottom of the radiator.

3. Remove the heater hoses. There are two heater hoses that connect the heater core to the engine. Disconnect these hoses from the heater core.

4. Remove the heater core box. There are four bolts that hold the heater core box in place. Remove these bolts and then remove the heater core box from the car.

5. Remove the heater core. The heater core is located inside the heater core box. Remove the heater core from the box.

Tips:

* Make sure to have all of the necessary tools and parts on hand before you begin.

* Be careful not to damage any of the hoses or other parts while you are working.

* If you are uncomfortable working on your own car, you can have it done by a professional mechanic.
