Where is the oil drain plug on 2009 Chevy aveo?

Locate the oil drain plug

1. Park your vehicle on a level surface.

2. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.

3. Jack up the front of the car or place it on ramps so you have easy access to the oil drain plug.

4. Locate the oil drain pan that will catch the oil.

5. Remove any splash shields or covers that may be in the way of the oil drain plug.

6. Use the correct size wrench or socket to loosen and remove the oil drain plug. Be careful not to drop the bolt into the oil pan.

Once you have removed the oil drain plug, allow all of the oil to drain out of the engine.

When the oil has stopped dripping, replace the oil drain plug. Tighten the plug until it is snug. Do not overtighten the plug as this may damage the threads.

Lower the car back to the ground and add new oil to the engine. Check the oil level and add more oil if necessary.
