How many cars can you sell in one year Ontario without a dealers license?

According to the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act (MVDA) in Ontario, it is illegal to sell more than 10 vehicles per calendar year without being registered as a motor vehicle dealer. This includes selling vehicles privately, through classified ads, or online marketplaces. Selling more than the permitted number of vehicles without a dealer's license is considered an offense under the MVDA and may result in penalties such as fines and/or imprisonment.
