How do you fix passenger side window cable on a 2003 jeep?

Tools and Materials Needed:

- Phillips Head Screwdriver

- Flat Head Screwdriver

- 10mm Socket Wrench

- New Window Regulator Cable

Instructions:

Step 1: Remove the Door Panel

1.1. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the door panel in place.

1.2. Once the screws are removed, use a flat head screwdriver to pry the door panel off of the door.

1.3. Be careful not to damage the door panel or the weather stripping.

Step 2: Remove the Old Window Regulator Cable

2.1. Locate the window regulator cable. It is a metal cable that runs from the window regulator motor to the window glass.

2.2. Use a 10mm socket wrench to remove the bolts that hold the window regulator cable in place.

2.3. Once the bolts are removed, pull the old window regulator cable out of the window regulator.

Step 3: Install the New Window Regulator Cable

3.1. Insert the new window regulator cable into the window regulator.

3.2. Secure the window regulator cable with the bolts that you removed in Step 2.

3.3. Tighten the bolts until they are snug.

Step 4: Reinstall the Door Panel

4.1. Align the door panel with the door.

4.2. Insert the screws that you removed in Step 1.

4.3. Tighten the screws until they are snug.

Step 5: Test the Window

5.1. Use the power window switch on the door to roll down the window.

5.2. Make sure that the window rolls up and down smoothly.

5.3. If the window does not roll up or down properly, check to make sure that the window regulator cable is properly installed.

Tips:

- If you are having difficulty removing the door panel, you may need to use a pry bar.

- Be careful not to damage the weather stripping when you are removing the door panel.

- If you are not comfortable working with tools, you can take your car to a mechanic to have the window regulator cable replaced.
