1. Open the hood of your vehicle.
2. Look at the driver's side of the engine compartment, towards the front.
3. Towards the back, you will see the dipstick handle, which has an orange or yellow tip.
4. Grasp the dipstick handle and pull it out of the tube.
5. Wipe the dipstick clean with a rag or paper towel.
6. Reinsert the dipstick all the way into the tube.
7. Pull the dipstick out again and check the oil level.
This will help you determine the oil level in your vehicle and whether or not it is time to add oil.
