Where are the O2 sensors located on a 1999 Lexus rx300?

There are four oxygen sensors in a 1999 Lexus rx300, all of which are located in the exhaust system.

- Two are located in the exhaust manifolds, just after the catalytic converters

- Two are located further downstream in the exhaust pipes, in front of the mufflers.

You must remove the splash guard under the engine and transmission area. The downstream O2 sensors can be unbolted with a wrench once disconnected, and the upstream set will require a socket.
