Where is battery on 2001 Cadillac DeVille?

The 2001 Cadillac DeVille has its battery located under the hood, in the passenger side corner of the engine compartment. To access the battery, follow these steps:

1. Open the hood.

2. Locate the battery in the passenger side corner of the engine compartment.

3. Disconnect the negative battery terminal by loosening the nut on the terminal with a wrench.

4. Disconnect the positive battery terminal by loosening the nut on the terminal with a wrench.

5. Remove the battery from the engine compartment by lifting it straight up.

When reinstalling the battery, be sure to reconnect the positive terminal first, followed by the negative terminal.
