Where is the blower Resistor 1996 GMC Sierra?

1. Turn the engine off and allow it to cool down.

2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

3. Remove the instrument panel lower trim panel by unfastening the fasteners at the left and right edges.

4. Locate the blower resistor that is mounted on the HVAC plenum cover.

5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower resistor.

6. Remove the screws holding the blower resistor to the HVAC plenum cover and take out the resistor.

7. To install a new resistor, reverse the steps.
