* Small flat-head screwdriver
* New power window switch
* Electrical tape
* Wire stripper
* Crimping tool
Instructions
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. This will prevent any electrical shock while you are working.
2. Remove the door panel. There are usually a few screws holding the door panel in place. Once you have removed the screws, use the small flat-head screwdriver to pry the door panel off of the door.
3. Locate the power window switch. It is usually located on the driver's side door.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the power window switch. There are usually two connectors, one for the power and one for the ground.
5. Remove the old power window switch from the door. There are usually two screws holding the switch in place.
6. Install the new power window switch. Secure it with the two screws that you removed from the old switch.
7. Connect the electrical connectors to the new power window switch.
8. Reinstall the door panel.
9. Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
10. Test the power window switch to make sure that it is working properly.
