1. Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Open the center console.
3. Locate the cigarette lighter. It is typically located on the front of the console, near the cup holders.
4. Grab the cigarette lighter assembly with your fingers and pull it straight out of the console.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the cigarette lighter.
6. Press the new cigarette lighter into the hole in the console until it clicks into place.
7. Reconnect the electrical connector to the cigarette lighter.
8. Close the center console.
9. Test the cigarette lighter to make sure it is working properly.
