How do you replace the headlamp on a 1997 Mitsubishi Mirage?

Tools and Materials:

* Replacement Headlamp

* 10mm wrench

* Phillips head screwdriver

* Flat head screwdriver

Instructions

1.) Open the hood of the vehicle and locate the headlamp assembly.

2.) Remove the two Phillips head screws that hold the headlamp in place.

3.) Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlamp.

4.) Remove the headlamp assembly from the vehicle.

5.) Remove the rubber boot from headlamp.

6.) Twist and remove the burnt headlamp by turning it counter-clockwise.

7.) Twist the new headlamp into the socket by turning clockwise until the tabs lock in place.

8.) Replace the rubber boot to seal the headlamp assembly.

9.) Reconnect the electrical connector to the headlamp.

10.) Insert the headlamp assembly back into the vehicle.

11.) Secure the headlamp assembly with the two Phillips head screws.

12.) Repeat the process for the other headlamp if necessary.

Tips:

* Be careful not to drop the headlamp assembly.

* Replace both headlamps at the same time to ensure even lighting.

* Test the headlamps to make sure they are working properly.
