2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. This will prevent you from accidentally getting shocked while you are working.
3. Remove the glove compartment. There are usually a few screws that hold the glove compartment in place.
4. You will see a black plastic box with a few wires going into it. This is the blower motor resistor.
5. Disconnect the wires from the blower motor resistor. Be careful not to lose the screws that hold the wires in place.
Remove the blower motor resistor.
6. Connect the new blower motor resistor, make sure to connect the wires correctly.
7. Replace the glove compartment.
8. Reconnect the battery cable.
