1. Start with the key in the ignition. Make sure that the key is in the ignition and turned to the "ON" position, but do not start the engine.
2. Press and hold the "UNLOCK" button on the keyless remote. Hold down the "UNLOCK" button for approximately 5 seconds, or until the vehicle's horn honks once.
3. Press and hold the "LOCK" button on the keyless remote. Immediately after pressing and holding the "UNLOCK" button, press and hold the "LOCK" button for approximately 5 seconds, or until the vehicle's horn honks twice.
4. Turn the key in the ignition to the "OFF" position. Remove the key from the ignition.
5. Test the keyless remote. Press the "UNLOCK" and "LOCK" buttons on the keyless remote to make sure that they are working properly.
If the keyless remote is not working properly, you may need to repeat the programming steps. You may also need to have the keyless remote reprogrammed by a qualified technician.
