1. Locate the low-pressure port, which is usually on the side of the AC compressor.
2. Connect the low-pressure hose from the AC recharge kit to the low-pressure port.
3. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
4. Turn on the AC system to its maximum setting.
5. Open the low-pressure valve on the AC recharge kit and let the refrigerant flow into the system.
6. Monitor the system pressure using the gauge on the AC recharge kit.
7. Continue adding refrigerant until the system pressure reaches the recommended level.
8. Close the low-pressure valve and disconnect the AC recharge kit.
9. Verify that the AC system is working properly.
