What is easiest access to 1977 El Camino blower motor?

Access the blower motor from outside of the vehicle, under the hood:

1. Locate the cowl vent/air intake vent in front of the windshield on the passenger side of the car.

2. Remove the plastic cowl vent cover.

3. Locate the large rubber hose that connects the cowl vent to the blower housing inside the car.

4. Remove the clamp on the hose, and detach it from the fitting on the blower housing.

5. Reach into the hole where the hose was attached, and feel around for the blower motor.

6. The blower motor is secured by three screws. Remove the screws, and pull the blower motor out of the housing.
