The fuse box for a 1996 Chevy Cavalier is located behind the driver's side kick panel, near the steering wheel. To access the fuse box, you will need to remove the kick panel by unscrewing the screws that hold it in place.
NOTE: Before you remove the kick panel, make sure that the car is turned off and the parking brake is engaged.

In addition to the main fuse box located behind the driver's side kick panel, there are also two other fuse boxes on a 1996 Chevy Cavalier:
- Underhood Fuse Box: Located in the engine compartment, near the battery. This fuse box contains fuses for major electrical components, such as the starter, fuel pump, and headlights.
- Fuse Block: Located on the left side of the dashboard, near the steering wheel. This fuse box contains fuses for minor electrical components, such as the radio, power windows, and dome light.
NOTE: If you are experiencing electrical problems with your 1996 Chevy Cavalier, it is important to check all three fuse boxes to see if any of the fuses have blown.
