Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow
The P0441 code is a generic OBD-II trouble code that is triggered when the powertrain control module (PCM) detects an incorrect purge flow in the evaporative emission control (EVAP) system.
The EVAP system is responsible for capturing and storing fuel vapors from the fuel tank and preventing them from being released into the atmosphere. When the engine is running, the PCM opens the purge valve, allowing the stored vapors to be drawn into the engine and burned.
If the PCM detects that the purge flow is incorrect, it will set the P0441 code. This can be caused by a number of problems, including:
* A faulty purge valve
* A faulty pressure sensor
* A faulty vacuum hose
* A leak in the EVAP system
