2. Remove the air filter housing. This will give you more room to work.
3. Locate the starter. It is mounted on the side of the engine near the bottom.
4. Remove the wires that connect the starter to the battery and ignition switch.
5. Remove the bolts that hold the starter in place.
6. Remove the starter from the vehicle.
7. Install the new starter in the reverse order of removal.
8. Reconnect the battery.
