- New differential fluid (SAE 75W-90)
- Drain pan
- Funnel
- 10mm wrench
- 17mm wrench
Procedure:
1. Park your Camry on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Locate the differential drain plug. It is located on the bottom of the differential housing, near the rear of the vehicle.
3. Place the drain pan under the drain plug.
4. Use the 17mm wrench to loosen the drain plug and allow the old fluid to drain into the pan.
5. While the old fluid is draining, use the 10mm wrench to loosen the fill plug. It is located on the top of the differential housing, near the front of the vehicle.
6. Once all of the old fluid has drained out, replace the drain plug and tighten it securely.
7. Use the funnel to add new fluid to the differential. Fill it until the fluid level reaches the bottom of the fill plug hole.
8. Replace the fill plug and tighten it securely.
9. Lower the vehicle and dispose of the old fluid properly.
