1. Locate the air filter housing. The air filter housing is located in the engine compartment on the passenger side of the vehicle. It is a black plastic box with a lid held in place by two screws.
2. Remove the lid of the air filter housing. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the lid in place. Then, lift the lid off of the housing.
3. Remove the old air filter. The old air filter is located inside the housing. It is a rectangular piece of paper that is held in place by a plastic frame. To remove the air filter, simply lift it out of the frame.
4. Inspect the old air filter. The old air filter should be inspected for dirt and debris. If the air filter is dirty, it should be replaced.
5. Install the new air filter. To install the new air filter, simply place it in the plastic frame. Then, lower the lid of the air filter housing and secure it with the two screws.
