1.Locate the trip odometer/reset knob on your dashboard.
- It's usually located near the speedometer and tachometer.
2.Press the trip odometer/reset knob.
- Hold the knob down for about 5 seconds until the oil light turns off.
3.Release the trip odometer/reset knob.
- The oil light should now be turned off.
*Note:* If the oil light does not turn off after following these steps, there may be a problem with your vehicle's oil system. You should take your car to a mechanic to have it checked out.*

- Make sure that your vehicle's oil level is full before attempting to reset the oil light.
