1. Open the hood of your Toyota Corolla.
2. Look for the black plastic air box on the back of the engine. It should be located beneath the windshield.
3. There are two tabs on the back of the air box. Slide the tabs in and pull the air box cover off.
4. Inside the air box, you will see the cabin air filter. It is a white, rectangular piece of foam.
5. Remove the cabin air filter by grasping it and pulling it out of the box.
6. Make sure to vacuum the inside of the air box before installing the new filter.
7. Insert the new cabin air filter into the air box. Ensure that the new filter is facing the correct direction.
8. Snap the air box cover back into place.
9. Close the hood of your Toyota Corolla.
