Open the trunk. If necessary, you can use your key to unlock it.
Locate the access panel for the brake light. It is usually located on the inside of the trunk, near the top.
Remove the access panel. There may be one or more screws or clips holding it in place.
Locate the brake light bulb. It is usually a small, round bulb with a metal base.
Unscrew the brake light bulb. You may need to use a screwdriver to do this.
Install the new brake light bulb. Screw it in until it is secure.
Reinstall the access panel. Make sure that all of the screws or clips are secure.
Close the trunk.
