1. Locate the battery alarm control module. In the 4Runner, it's usually found under the driver's seat.
2. Once you've located the control module, you'll need to remove it from its housing. To do this, you'll need to remove the screws holding it in place.
3. With the control module removed, you'll need to find the "Reset" button. It's usually a small, red button located on the circuit board.
4. Press and hold the "Reset" button for at least 10 seconds. This will reset the alarm and disable the system.
5. Reinstall the control module and the screws that hold it in place.
