How do you change the fuel injectors on a 2002 Hyundai accent?

Here are the steps on how to change the fuel injectors on a 2002 Hyundai Accent:

1. Remove the air intake hose. This is located on the top of the engine and connects the air filter to the throttle body. To remove it, loosen the hose clamp and pull the hose off of the throttle body.

2. Remove the fuel injector cover. This is a black plastic cover that is located on the top of the engine, just above the fuel injectors. To remove it, use a flat-head screwdriver to pry it up and off of the engine.

3. Disconnect the fuel injector electrical connectors. There are four fuel injector electrical connectors, one for each injector. To disconnect them, simply press the release tab on each connector and pull it off of the injector.

4. Remove the fuel injector hold-down bolts. There are four fuel injector hold-down bolts, one for each injector. To remove them, use a 10mm wrench to loosen the bolts and then remove them with your fingers.

5. Pull the fuel injectors out of the engine. Once the hold-down bolts are removed, you can pull the fuel injectors out of the engine. Be careful not to drop the fuel injectors, as they are fragile and can be easily damaged.

6. Inspect the fuel injectors. Once the fuel injectors are removed, inspect them for damage. Look for any cracks or leaks in the injectors. If you find any damage, replace the injectors.

7. Clean the fuel injectors. Before reinstalling the fuel injectors, clean them to remove any dirt or debris. To clean them, soak the injectors in a can of carburetor cleaner for 15 minutes. Then, rinse the injectors with clean water and dry them with compressed air.

8. Reinstall the fuel injectors. To reinstall the fuel injectors, simply reverse the steps for removal. Be sure to tighten the fuel injector hold-down bolts securely.

9. Reconnect the fuel injector electrical connectors. Reconnect the fuel injector electrical connectors by pressing them onto the injectors until they click into place.

10. Reinstall the fuel injector cover. Reinstall the fuel injector cover by pressing it down onto the engine until it snaps into place.

11. Reinstall the air intake hose. Reinstall the air intake hose by connecting it to the throttle body and tightening the hose clamp.
