Where is the IAT sensor on a 97 Honda Accord?

The IAT (intake air temperature) sensor on a 1997 Honda Accord is located in the air intake duct, just before the throttle body. It is a small, cylindrical sensor with two wires coming out of it. The sensor is held in place by a single bolt.

To remove the IAT sensor, you will need a screwdriver and a 10mm wrench.

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Locate the IAT sensor in the air intake duct.

3. Use the screwdriver to remove the screw that holds the sensor in place.

4. Disconnect the two wires from the sensor.

5. Remove the sensor from the air intake duct.

To install the new IAT sensor, simply reverse the steps above.

Be sure to tighten the screw that holds the sensor in place securely. If the screw is not tightened securely, the sensor may come loose and fall out. This could cause the engine to run rich, which can lead to decreased fuel economy and performance.
