1. Park your vehicle on a level surface.
Ensure the vehicle is stationary and the parking brake is engaged.
2. Shift the transmission into neutral.
This will disengage the driveline from the wheels.
3. Press the "4WD" button on the center console.
The 4WD indicator light on the dashboard will illuminate when engaged.
4. Shift the transmission into "D" or "R."
The vehicle is now in four-wheel drive.
Additional Notes:
- Only use 4WD when necessary, such as when driving on slippery or snowy roads.
- Do not exceed 55 MPH while driving in 4WD.
- Shift back into 2WD when conditions improve.
- If the 4WD indicator light does not illuminate when the "4WD" button is pressed, there may be a problem with the 4WD system. In this case, you should have the vehicle inspected by a qualified mechanic.
