1999 Toyota Camry backup lights and license plate work?

The 1999 Toyota Camry comes with backup lights and a license plate light as standard features. The backup lights are located on both sides of the rear of the vehicle and are activated when the vehicle is in reverse gear. The license plate light is located above the license plate at the rear of the vehicle and illuminates the license plate when the headlights are turned on.
