2. Locate the coolant reservoir. It is a translucent white plastic tank with a black cap. The coolant reservoir is located on the left side of the radiator, facing you as you stand in front of the vehicle.
3. Disconnect the two coolant hoses that connect to the top of this cylinder. (This part looks exactly like your thermostat housing except that it’s made entirely of white or black plastic) There will not be much coolant so have something at the ready such as a clean dry rag.
4. Use a 14-millimeter wrench to remove the two bolts. Pull the old gasket and thermostat gently to the side out of the thermostat's way and gently wiggle and pry that plastic housing loose of the block. (Gasket may stick in one place) Clean everything that comes off from any old gasket material you can see
5. Insert the new (180F) thermostat (with or without its gasket depending on the manufacturer), then, reverse what you did to install everything you had to take off to remove the thermostat
