1. Park your vehicle and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood of your vehicle.
3. Locate the headlight assembly that contains the burned-out bulb.
On the Chevy Uplander, the headlights are located on the front of the vehicle. There is one headlight assembly on each side.
4. Remove the cover of the headlight assembly.
On the Chevy Uplander, the headlight covers are held in place by a few screws. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws and then remove the cover.
5. Remove the old light bulb.
Twist the bulb counterclockwise to remove it from the socket.
6. Insert the new light bulb.
Align the bulb with the socket and turn it clockwise until it is secure.
7. Replace the cover of the headlight assembly.
Replace the screws that you removed in step 4 to secure the cover.
8. Close the hood of your vehicle.
Here are some additional tips for changing a light bulb on a Chevy Uplander:
- Make sure that the engine is turned off before you start working.
- Be careful not to touch the glass of the light bulb with your bare hands.
- If the light bulb is hot, let it cool down before attempting to remove it.
- Use a flashlight if you are working in a dark area.
- If you are not comfortable changing a light bulb on your own, you can take your vehicle to a mechanic or auto body shop.
