1. Locate the emergency trunk release lever. This lever is usually located in the rear footwell, on the driver's side.
2. Pull the lever to release the trunk.
Method 2: Emergency Key Access
1. Locate the keyhole on the trunk lid.
2. Insert the key and turn it to the left.
3. The trunk will pop open.
Note: If the trunk does not open after following either of these methods, you may need to have the car towed to a mechanic.
Additional Tips:
- If you are working in a dark area, use a flashlight to help you see.
- Be careful not to drop the key inside the car.
