1. Park your vehicle in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Locate the brake pedal. It is the pedal that you press to stop the vehicle.
3. Follow the brake pedal up to the brake pedal switch. It is a small, black switch located behind the brake pedal.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the brake pedal switch.
5. Use a wrench to loosen and remove the two bolts that hold the brake pedal switch in place.
6. Remove the brake pedal switch from the vehicle.
7. Install the new brake pedal switch in the reverse order of removal.
