1. Park the vehicle on a level surface. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down. Engage the parking brake.
2. Locate the fuel filter. The fuel filter is located on the passenger side of the vehicle, under the rear seat.
3. Raise the rear seat. To raise the rear seat, pull up on the release lever located on the side of the seat.
4. Disconnect the fuel lines. Disconnect the fuel line from the fuel filter by pressing down on the release clip and pulling the fuel line off of the filter.
5. Remove the fuel filter. Remove the fuel filter by unscrewing the mounting bolts and pulling the filter out of the bracket.
6. Install the new fuel filter. Insert the new fuel filter into the bracket and screw in the mounting bolts. Tighten the bolts until they are snug.
7. Connect the fuel lines. Connect the fuel lines to the fuel filter by pressing down on the release clips and pushing the fuel lines onto the filter.
8. Lower the rear seat. Lower the rear seat by pushing it down until it clicks into place.
9. Start the engine. Turn the key to the "On" position and start the engine. Let the engine run for a few minutes to circulate the fuel.
