2. Locate the engine cover, which is the black plastic cover that covers the top of the engine. It is located at the front of the engine compartment, near the windshield.
3. Remove the engine cover by releasing the two clips on the front of it.
4. Once the engine cover is removed, you will see the valve cover. The valve cover is the metal cover that covers the top of the engine block.
5. The PVC valve is located on the top of the valve cover, towards the front of the engine. It is a small, black plastic part with a hose attached to it.
6. To remove the PVC valve, simply pull it out of the valve cover. There is no need to disconnect the hose.
7. Inspect the PVC valve for damage or wear. If the valve is damaged or worn, it should be replaced.
8. To install a new PVC valve, simply insert it into the valve cover. There is no need to add any sealant or adhesive.
9. Replace the engine cover and close the hood of your Civic LX.
