- A Phillips head screwdriver
- A flat head screwdriver
- A new headlight bulb
Step 1: Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine.
Step 2: Open the hood of your car.
Step 3: Locate the headlight assembly that you will be replacing the bulb in.
Step 4: Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the headlight assembly in place.
Step 5: Pull the headlight assembly out from the front of the car.
Step 6: Use the flat head screwdriver to pry the old headlight bulb out of its socket.
Step 7: Push the new headlight bulb into the socket.
Step 8: Reattach the headlight assembly to the car and tighten the two screws that you removed in Step 4.
Step 9: Close the hood of your car.
You have now successfully replaced the headlight bulb on your 2001 Honda Civic.
