- After a trigger event, the car alarm will enter Emergency Mode. The LED will flash
rapidly, indicating that the alarm system is active but temporarily immobilized.
2. Disarm the Alarm:
- Locate the Override switch, which is usually near the driver's footwell.
- Press the Override button and enter the correct 4-digit PIN.
- The LED will stop flashing, indicating that the alarm has been disarmed.
3. Reactivation Method:
- Method 1 (Remote Only):
a) Press and hold the "Unlock" button on your Cobra remote transmitter for
4 seconds.
b) The LED will flash rapidly, and the alarm system will be reactivated.
- Method 2 (Remote + Ignition Cycle):
a) Turn the ignition key to the "On" position and leave it there.
b) Within 15 seconds, press the "Lock" button on your Cobra remote
transmitter for 4 seconds.
c) Turn the ignition key back to the "Off" position.
d) The LED will flash rapidly, and the alarm system will be reactivated.
4. Confirm Reactivation:
- After performing the reactivation steps, the Cobra 4908 car alarm should be
fully reactivated and ready to protect your vehicle. The LED will continue to
flash slowly in Standby Mode, indicating that the alarm is armed.
