1. Open the trunk.
2. Remove the trunk liner.
3. Locate the battery, which is on the passenger side of the trunk.
4. Disconnect the negative (black) terminal cable.
5. Disconnect the positive (red) terminal cable.
6. Remove the battery.
To reinstall the battery, simply follow these instructions in reverse order. Be sure to reconnect the negative terminal cable first, followed by the positive terminal cable.
