Locate the emergency trunk release inside the vehicle. It is typically located on the driver's side footwell.
Pull the emergency trunk release lever to open the trunk.
Once the trunk is open, locate the battery. It is usually located in the spare tire compartment.
Disconnect the negative battery cable (black) from the battery terminal using a wrench.
Reconnect the negative battery cable to the battery terminal.
Close the trunk and use the key to unlock the driver's door.
Start the vehicle using the ignition key.
Note: If the battery is completely dead, you may need to jump-start the vehicle using another car or a portable jump starter.
