2. Remove the distributor cap by turning it counterclockwise.
3. Inspect the distributor cap for cracks or damage. If the cap is damaged, replace it.
4. Apply a small amount of dielectric grease to the terminals of the distributor cap.
5. Align the distributor cap with the distributor body and turn it clockwise until it is seated.
6. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
7. Start the engine and check for any leaks.
