The fuse box for the 2002 Mazda Protege is located in the engine compartment, near the battery. The cruise control fuse is labeled "CRUISE" and is a 10 amp fuse.
To replace the cruise control fuse, follow these steps:
1. Open the hood of your Protege.
2. Locate the fuse box. It is a black plastic box with a white label on it.
3. Remove the cover of the fuse box.
4. Locate the cruise control fuse. It is labeled "CRUISE" and is a 10 amp fuse.
5. Use a fuse puller to remove the old fuse.
6. Insert a new 10 amp fuse into the fuse socket.
7. Replace the cover of the fuse box.
8. Close the hood of your Protege.
