Where are the dodge 2013 3500 diesel fuel filters located?

The 2013 Ram 3500 with a diesel engine has two fuel filters. One is located on the driver's side frame rail, just behind the front wheel. The other is located on the engine, near the fuel injection pump.

To change the fuel filter on the frame rail:

1. Locate the fuel filter. It is a cylindrical object with two fuel lines connected to it.

2. Place a catch pan under the fuel filter.

3. Loosen the fuel line clamps and disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel filter.

4. Remove the bolts that hold the fuel filter in place.

5. Remove the fuel filter from the vehicle.

6. Install a new fuel filter.

7. Tighten the bolts that hold the fuel filter in place.

8. Connect the fuel lines to the fuel filter.
