1. Check battery cable connections. Make sure the battery cables are securely fastened to the battery terminals. Try reconnecting the cables and make sure they are tight.
2. Check the fuses. A blown fuse could be the cause of the problem. Check the fuses in the fuse box under the hood and replace any that are blown.
3. Check the ignition switch. The ignition switch could be faulty, preventing the car from starting. Try turning the key in the ignition several times to see if it will start.
4. Check starter motor/ solenoid. The problem may be caused by a faulty starter motor or solenoid. Try tapping the starter motor with a hammer to see if it will start.
5. Check the fuel pump. The fuel pump could be faulty, preventing fuel from reaching the engine. Try listening for the sound of the fuel pump when you turn the key in the ignition. If you don't hear anything, the fuel pump may be faulty.
6. Check computer system. Disconnecting the battery cables may have reset the computer system, causing the car not to start. You may need to have the car towed to a mechanic to have the computer system reset.
