Ensure that the new car battery is properly installed and connected. Check the battery terminals to make sure they are clean and free of corrosion.
Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position (without starting the engine).
Wait for the system check light on the radio to start flashing.
Press and hold the "DISP/MODE" button on the radio until the system check light stops flashing.
Release the "DISP/MODE" button.
The system check light should now be turned off.
If the system check light continues to flash after following these steps, there may be an issue with the vehicle's electrical system or the radio itself. In this case, it is recommended to consult with a qualified mechanic or an automotive electrician for further diagnosis and repair.
