1. Park the working vehicle close to but not touching the Chrysler Concorde with a dead battery.
2. Turn off the engine of the working vehicle.
3. Open the hood of both vehicles and locate the batteries.
4. Identify the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals of both batteries.
5. Connect the positive (+) cable to the positive (+) terminal of the dead battery and to the positive (+) terminal of the working vehicle's battery.
6. Connect the negative (-) cable to the negative (-) terminal of the working vehicle's battery and then to an unpainted metal surface on the Chrysler Concorde (not near the battery).
7. Start the working vehicle and let it run for a few minutes to charge the dead battery.
8. Turn off the working vehicle and disconnect the jumper cables in the reverse order of how you connected them.
9. Try starting the Chrysler Concorde. If it starts, let it run for a few minutes to continue charging the battery.
Note:
- Make sure both vehicles are in "PARK" before connecting the cables.
- Avoid touching the positive and negative terminals of the batteries directly with your hands to prevent electrical shock.
- If the vehicle does not start, there may be other issues beyond a dead battery. It's best to consult a professional for further diagnosis.
