How do you get your personal property back after car has been reposessed?

1. Contact the lender immediately. The lender will be able to tell you the process for getting your property back.

2. Pay any outstanding debts. You may need to pay off the loan balance, as well as any late fees or storage charges, in order to get your property back.

3. Provide proof of ownership. You will need to show that the property in question is yours. This may mean providing receipts, invoices, or other documentation.

4. Pick up your property

Once you have paid the balance and provided proof of ownership, you can pick up your property. Depending on the lender and the location of the property, you may be able to pick it up in person or have it shipped to you.

Some additional things to keep in mind:

-If you cannot afford to pay the outstanding debt in full, you may be able to work out a payment plan with the lender.

-If the lender refuses to release your property, you may need to take legal action.

-You may want to consider getting a personal property insurance policy to protect your belongings in case of repossession.
