- Remove air cleaner housing.
- Remove engine covers.
- Disconnect resonator hose from air cleaner cover.
- Loosen hose clamp at throttle body.
- Carefully remove air cleaner cover.
- Carefully remove air filter.
- Remove 18 mm bolt under front lip of air cleaner housing.
- Remove oil drain plug.
- Place oil drain pan under oil pan.
- Remove oil drain plug.
- Remove oil filter.
- Rotate counterclockwise to remove.
- Apply new engine oil to seal on new oil filter.
- Install oil filter.
- Rotate clockwise to install. Tighten to 10 Nm (7 ft. lb.)
- Install oil drain plug.
- Tighten to 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.).
- Add 5.2 liters (5.5 US qt.) of new engine oil.
- Start vehicle.
- Allow to run for 30 seconds to circulate oil to all bearing surfaces.
- Recheck oil level and correct as necessary.
