Here are some steps you can take if your ABS brakes drag on one side and get very hot:
1. Pull over to the side of the road and turn off the engine. Do this as soon as possible to prevent further damage to your vehicle.
2. Get out of your vehicle and inspect the brakes. Look for any obvious damage, such as a broken brake line or a leaking brake fluid reservoir. If you see any damage, do not drive your vehicle. Call a tow truck and have it towed to a mechanic.
3. If you do not see any obvious damage, try to reset the ABS system. This can be done by turning the ignition key to the "ON" position without starting the engine. Then, press and hold the ABS button for 10 seconds. The ABS light should come on and then go off. Start the engine and drive slowly to test the brakes. If they are still dragging, you will need to take your vehicle to a mechanic.
4. Have your vehicle inspected by a mechanic. The mechanic will be able to diagnose the problem and make the necessary repairs.
