When car switched off you hear a spinning sound?

When you switch off your car, you may hear a spinning sound due to several reasons:

1. Cooling Fan: After the engine is turned off, the cooling fan may continue to run for a short period to help dissipate residual heat from the engine.

2. Fuel Pump: In some vehicles, the fuel pump may run momentarily after the engine is switched off to maintain fuel pressure in the fuel lines.

3. Electric Motors: Certain electric motors or actuators in the vehicle, such as those for power windows or seat adjustments, may continue to operate briefly after the ignition is turned off.

4. Accessories: If you had any accessories plugged into the cigarette lighter or USB ports and left them turned on, they may continue to draw power and make a spinning or whirring sound.

5. Wind Noise: If you have your windows open, you may hear the sound of wind passing over the vehicle which can resemble a spinning noise.

In most cases, these sounds are normal and harmless and will cease after a few seconds or minutes. However, if the spinning sound persists or seems ungewöhnlich, it's best to consult your car's owner's manual or consult a mechanic to identify the source and ensure there are no underlying issues.
