2. Inspect the rocker arms for wear or damage. If the rocker arms are worn or damaged, they will need to be replaced.
3. Check the rocker arm oil flow. If the rocker arms are not getting enough oil, they will become noisy.
4. Adjust the rocker arm lash, which is the amount of play between the rocker arm and the valve stems. The rocker arm lash should be set to the manufacturer's specifications.
5. Once you have adjusted the rocker arm lash, tighten the rocker arm nuts.
